The Forest Stewardship Communication Specialist oversees a comprehensive communications program for a statewide program with moderately complex communications requirements. The communications program usually includes written, visual, digital and electronic communications. Works with program coordinator and collaborators to develop and execute communication strategies including advertising and information campaigns. Additional projects include online learning module development and video production.
This position is a contract appointment that is 100% fixed through 6/30/2024 with the possibility of extension.
The home department for this position is UCCE Central Sierra Nevada MCP. While this position normally is based at Tuolumne, CA, this position is eligible for hybrid flexible work arrangements, for applicants living in the State of California, at this time. Please note that hybrid flexible work arrangements are subject to change by University.
Pay Scale: $62,300.00 to $89,000.00/yr.
This position will promote, in all ways consistent with the other responsibilities of the position, accomplishment of the Affirmative Action goals established by the Division.
The University reserves the right to make employment contingent upon successful completion of the background check.
